Latinos Feroz

There comes a time in a bloggers life when writer's block, or, creator's block appears and nothing.......! Right before the holidays things get a little bit crazy with decorating, shopping, finals and your day job which makes it that much difficult to find time to write. Now, after all of the turmoil I finally have time to breathe, relax and create.
This project has been in the works for a while now and I'm finally excited to be posting. Latinos Feroz is not about me or my story, its about all of you and your style, life and dreams. I've come across very beautiful and amazing people in my latino community and circle and I just can't wait to share their stories, struggles and goals.

Jailene Ledezma

I just hate finding amazing clothing at Goodwill and not being able to fit in them. UGH. Luckily, I have amazing friends with amazing bodies to model them for me.

Jailene is wearing a vintage LBD with a detailed scalloped neckline. In the second portion of the pictures, she has on a long blue nightgown that can be worn as a formal dress or a casual silk cami dress. In the pictures she is wearing heels with both dresses but they can be dressed down with loafers, sandals or a crisp white tenni. I love to have photoshoots in unexpected strange settings because it makes the model more comfortable and gives a hint of realism to the photo.

Hi, My name is Jailene Ledezma and I am 20 years old. I have many goals in life and one of my biggest is to inspire and make an impact on children. I hope to make a big impact on them as they have made on me.

Love yourself and never question who you are and what you are capable of. Always keep your head high and follow your dreams and ambitions. Keep searching for the stars because you can do anything you set your hearts to.

Jennifer Ramos

I knew that I wanted to photograph Jennifer in something sliming to make her legs look extra long and I also wanted to bring out her dark roots. Here, she is wearing a slip night gown turned dress from Goodwill and a vintage 80's jacket also from Goodwill.

Jennifer is a family friend and we often see each other at family gatherings. She is very strong and driven and the perfect example of how hard work and dedication always pays off.

"Life is a mystery and a journey and that is what we all have in common. However, our dreams and goals are what make us stronger than ever before.

I had a couple of rough times growing up especially in school. I wasn't the prettiest girl or the girl with the nice body and I was also anorexic. It was very challenging for me to see past that. I always had a little voice in my head that kept reminding me never to give up.

My advice is never give up or let other discourage you from your dreams. One day you will have your moment and it will be more beautiful than what you thought. I look back now and think how things turned out better than I would have expected in a million years. I would have never pictured myself taking pictures like this and how amazing it would make me feel about myself. Always have confidence in yourself and never forget your value in life and as a woman/girl. Never let anybody bring you down or doubt your worth because you are beautiful."

Annaeli Esmeralda Jauregui

Annaeli is a family friend and since she lives far we only hang out during family parties. I was excited to put her in this vintage 90s dress along with her fresh face and bold eyebrows this shoot was very fun.

"I live in North Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm 17 years old and I am a senior at Cheyenne High School. I want to become a pediatrician because I have always loved to be around children and take care of them.

Don't ever give up on your dreams no matter how hard it seems or how many bumps you encounter on the road. No matter how many people say you can't reach your dreams, just keep pushing through because in the end it will all be worth it."
