As we get older Halloween becomes an entirely different kind of celebration. Its not about the candy or the Princess costume any more. It becomes more about the sexiest costume or the which party to go to. Competitions upon competitions. I was one of those girls who bought the $60 costume that nobody else had and that was showing as much skin as possible. After a while that gets old and
boring and not to mention exhausting. Once you've had your fair share of skin baring costumes you can finally take a chance in showing some creativity and create your own unique costume. Talk about standing out in a crowd. Dress as a celebrity couple, own a pun, or put a different spin on a classic like I have here. Wearing this vintage plaid pleated skirt I have turned into the long lost Sanderson sister. If spending a lot of money is not an option, then this is a great alternative to an innovative more realistic costume. Lets face it, Police officers do not wear booty shorts. Your local dollar store offers a ton of fantastic costume accessories to go with your masterpiece. Throw on some funky socks and black boots with very bright beauty makeup and BAM!
